Lebron James has finally got hold of his crown. King James, by birth name Lebron James is finally a champion as the Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder at home this morning. Miami Heat beat OKC 121-106, to win the NBA Finals in five games.
Now we have to say bye to the corny jokes about Lebron James not having a ring. He got it now and you haters can fall back. The game was not in much doubt after the first few minutes, the Heat leading by five after the first period, 10 at the half and 24 after three — Miami outscoring Oklahoma City 36-22 in the third quarter and making the fourth little more than a coronation-ceremony-in waiting.
James finished the game with a triple-double — 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds… he wasn’t on his A game. But we glad he got a title. The world’s best all-around player also pulled off a rare double by being named Finals MVP in the same year when he was named MVP of the regular season.
